Along with traditional adjustments here at Brahmavidya Chiropractic the approach of BGI is implemented.
Lets begin with breaking down the term, subluxation, what chiropractors are ultimately working with when it comes to an adjustment. Sub- is less than and lux is dislocation. Subluxation is less than a dislocation within the joints. Traditionally speaking of the joints within the spine, but the body is not parts of a whole. It operates and is to be seen as a whole. The joints of the shoulders, rib cage, knees, ankles, ect. are all connected to the spine by our musculature and connective tissue (ligaments, tendons, mesentery, and fascia). When the body is experiencing a subluxation, we experience symptoms like pain. Chiropractic not just here for symptoms of pain but any and all symptoms because of its direct correlation to the nervous system.
BGI allows a deeper understanding of the body’s innate geometry and connectivity, further allowing the chiropractor to evaluate and release subluxations with greater ease and effectiveness of each adjustment.
Traditionally the subluxation is seen as the nerves and/ or spinal cord experiencing compression or stretching, misaligning the vertebrae, the bones making up the spine. BGI honors the expansion of knowledge we have gained throughout history, quantum physics teaching us all matter is comprised of energy. Entailing the necessary need to include the energetic system of the body for the understanding behind the subluxation as it carries a cause and a purpose for us to learn from.
Energy is information and it moves, it vibrates creating a frequency and tone sharing a message. We experience an enormous array of energetic experiences, affecting us on a physical, chemical, mental, and emotional level. Our body must integrate the information in a harmonious manner. If it is left unintegrated due to its unmatching of tone and frequency, this is when subluxations occur, disorienting our configuration. Reasons behind unprocessed information can be time and place, unattended emotions, mental disturbance, etc. We can only process and handle so much information at once. When subluxations go unnoticed this leads to a creation of dis-ease, and overtime disease.
Having understanding of the geometry allows the chiropractor to assess and prioritize all subluxation patterns, at the most appropriate time further allowing the creation of maximum opportunity for self-healing and memory within the body.
